If you’re lucky enough to enjoy weekends off, Sundays can be many peoples favourite day of the week so why don’t people always make the most of them? It’s no surprise to us that Sunday is the busiest day of the week for the hotel, with people meeting up to enjoy dinner, afternoon tea or a few quiet drinks while watching the sport on television. However, what has often been baffling to hoteliers is that it’s often the quietest night of the week for people to stay overnight. You might say that this makes sense. Sure, most people have to be up early for work the next morning. But if you think about it, Sunday can often be the best night of the week to stay in a hotel.
