Community Engagement

Our Community & Sustainability Initiatives

Here is a list of community initiatives that we have completed within the hotel:

2024

In 2024, our team volunteered at Avista Care Home, supporting the upkeep of shared spaces through painting, maintenance, and gardening to enhance the environment for residents and visitors.

2025

In 2025, we continued our commitment to the local community by participating in Castleknock Tidy Towns. Our team contributed through litter picking, gardening, weeding, and planting flowers in preparation for the Castleknock Village Festival.

To mark Earth Day 2025, we planted 20 cherry blossom trees within the hotel grounds, helping to expand our green footprint and create a more sustainable and beautifully landscaped environment.

Additionally, we organised a hotel-wide clothing drive in support of Focus Ireland, contributing to their vital work assisting those experiencing homelessness.

2026

For Earth Day 2026, we engaged both hotel guests and leisure centre members in a sustainability initiative by distributing wildflower seeds. This initiative was particularly well received, with members of our leisure centre taking part enthusiastically. Notably, two members who work in schools extended the initiative into their classrooms, planting the seeds with their students and helping to inspire environmental awareness in the next generation.

Additional Community Support

In addition to the initiatives listed above, the hotel is proud to support the local community through sponsorships and partnerships. In recent years, we have sponsored the Castleknock Village Festival, supported a St. Vincent’s Castleknock College past man event, and currently sponsor the Castleknock GAA teams.
