The Spa FAQs

Do I need to make a reservation?

Yes, we highly recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred treatment time and avoid disappointment, especially for larger groups and weekend bookings. Walk-ins are welcome, subject to availability.

Who can use the spa facilities?

Any guests that has booked in treatments or is staying in the hotel can avail of the Tonic Health Club facilities

What are your opening hours?

Our opening hours are:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday &Sunday: 9.30am to 7pm.

Thursday:9.30am – 9.pm

How early should I arrive before my appointment?

We ask that you arrive at least 15-minute prior to your appointment to fill out consultation forms and to change. If you wish to use the Tonic Health Club facilities beforehand you can arrive an hour or two prior to your treatments

What should I wear?

You may arrive in comfortable clothing, as robes and slippers will be provided upon arrival. For your treatments, you are welcome to wear your swimming attire or underwear under your robe. During all treatments, you will be properly draped to ensure your privacy and comfort at all times.

What is your cancellation policy?

We have a 24-hour cancellation policy, if treatments are cancelled within this time or there is a no show on the day a full treatment charge will be taken.

 

Are gratuities included in the price?

No gratuities are no included in the price but can be left separately via cash or card at the reception

Are Spa treatments suitable during pregnancy?

Spa treatments would only be suitable for pregnancy if they are over the first 12 weeks / the first trimester. We do not recommend having treatments before this time.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Yes, we would offer gift vouchers here and are available to purchase either in person at the Spa or via the Castleknock Hotel website

 

Can I use the pool, sauna, or steam room without booking a treatment?

You can use the Tonic Health Club facilities without having a treatment with us at the Spa, you would just need to purchase a Day Pass over at the Tonic Health Club desk.

 

What if I have medical conditions or allergies?

If you have medical conditions or allergies, please advise the receptionist upon booking as some conditions may be a contra-indication to treatments and may not be suitable to have done

Is there an age requirement?

Yes, we would have a strict over 18s policy implemented here at the Spa.
